E.D.G.E. is the student ministry of Country Acres Baptist Church in Wichita, Kansas.

We have a passion to get to Gospel to the lost world and see students grow and mature in their faith.  With that in mind, we seek to teach the authentic truth of the Bible at every opportunity.  We know that our students want depth…and we believe that they can handle depth. 

We desire to see our students get plugged into ministry.  We encourage our students to serve NOW in their areas of giftedness because they are not the future of the church…they are the church!  We have students serving in nearly every capacity in the church.  While raking leaves is a good thing, we feel that doing that once or twice a year should not be our entire “serving ministry.”  We believe service should be a lifestyle…that each day we are seeking ways to serve those around us. 

Along with serving the church and our community, we are a missions-minded student ministry.  Every year our students have an opportunity to “go.”  Over the past few years our students have been involved in mission opportunities in places like Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Texas and even places like Peru and Mexico. 

While there is plenty of things for our students to enjoy when they come here (ping pong, foosball, snacks, video games, etc), our ministry is not driven by these things.  We seek to use these avenues to generate Christ-centered relationships.
